| Throughout the years, employees at the Weldon Spring Site were committed to serving the community in a variety of ways.
- In 1990, the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) established the "Partners In Education" program. This program was designed to bring the Weldon Spring Site history and cleanup to the attention of local students. Site employees were able to share their knowledge and experience with students from kindergarten through college. Using WSSRAP employees as a resource, the project was also able to provide schools with volunteers to help with classroom presentations, career days and science fair projects.
- The U.S. Department of Energy made it possible for the WSSRAP to make donations to local schools. Several hundred computers, monitors and related equipment were donated to St. Charles County schools. An energy dispersive x-ray fluorescence analyzer was donated to the Department of Radiology at Washington University. Emergency showers, fire alarm system and emergency response equipment was donated to Central Missouri State University.
- A locomotive that had been used at the site in the 1950's and 60's and 15,000 feet of railroad track was donated to the National Museum of Transportation located in St. Louis County.
- Fundraisers were held at the site to aid charitable organizations such as the Youth In Need and the Delta Gamma Foundation. Annual food drives and holiday toy drives were held each year at the site to benefit children and families in the local community.
