The Weldon Spring Site Interpretive Center depicts the history of this area and details the progression of the cleanup process that resulted in construction of the 45-acre engineered disposal cell. This center is a result of the U.S. Department of Energy’s continuing commitment to maintaining a strong community partnership, and it serves to communicate the legacy of the Weldon Spring Site to future generations.
