2017 Weldon Spring Total Solar Eclipse Event 5x4

1½ minutes of total coverage between 1:16 to 1:18 p.m.
360⁰ uninterrupted views from St. Charles County’s
highest publicly accessible point

Registration begins August 1


  • Registration guarantees viewing on top of the disposal cell and a parking spot
  • Maximum of 200 people on top of the cell during totality
  • Three disposal cell viewing opportunities: before, during, and after total coverage

Additional Information

  • Free family activities and crafts, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Arrive anytime for family activities and to enjoy partial to full coverage
  • Additional viewing in the grass lawn next to the Interpretive Center
  • Free eclipse viewing glasses to the first 200 registered
  • Limited parking for non-registered visitors
  • Additional access to the site is available via the Hamburg Trail
  • Please bring your own food to picnic indoors or outdoors
  • Alcohol is not permitted
