Looking for an exciting project to contribute your gardening expertise?

After 18 years of environmental cleanup, the Weldon Spring Site has undergone a remarkable transformation from a contaminated industrial site to a revitalized landscape of native Missouri plants. Our 8-acre Native Plant Educational Garden offers:
  • 200 species of native plants
  • Theme areas highlighting prairies, savannas, wetlands, and woodlands
  • Information on establishing beautiful native plants in the home landscape
  • Incredible volunteer opportunities, including our Adopt-a-Garden program, plants, prizes, and recognition
