CO-83-L-1 – View looking northwest at Building 444 under construction. Originally called Plant A, Building 444 was one of the first buildings constructed at the Rocky Flats Plant. (4/15/52)

CO-83-L-2 – View looking northeast at Building 444 under construction. Building 444 was the primary non-plutonium manufacturing facility at the Rocky Flats Plant. Manufacturing processes completed in this building were used to fabricate weapons components and assemblies for a variety of materials, including depleted uranium, beryllium, stainless steel, aluminum, and vanadium.
